Nail Art Tutorial and Sneak Peek

Hello lovelies! Long time no see! I've been super busy lately and am in the process of editing my latest outfit photos so I thought I'd update with a sneak peek and a nail art tutorial!
Here are the steps to get these paint-splatter, circle pattern nails:

Materials
a base nail polish
(simple color like white)
design nail polishes
(I chose gold to keep it simple but you can use multiple colors)
a straw
paper

1. paint your nails with the base color and let dry
2. dab some design nail polish onto a paper and dip your straw into it
3. place the straw end onto your nails and press firmly
4. repeat step three to get desired effect

It's that simple! Let me know if you try this and tell me how it goes. See you soon!

Breaking Boundaries

Top ($5)--American Rag
Shorts ($3)--Macy's
Moccasins ($10)--Target
Bag ($3)--Thrifted

I guess I lied. I told you last week that it would be my last summer look post but this is another one haha. I couldn't resist with the warm weather and sunshine.
I also wanted to show off some pieces I dug up at my local thrift store. I'm not a huge thrifter, but lately I've been finding myself more hooked on thrifting because I feel greener buying clothes that are used (the great prices don't hurt either).
I named this post "Breaking Boundaries" because I went thrifting when I am usually a mall/new clothes shopper and because the combo of a sweet top and bold shorts is not your run-of-the-mill matchy outfit.
Just wanted to leave you with a quick update--by the way I got a lookbook! Hype away HERE (:
See you soon!

Avec amour,
Lily
