Man, it's been awhile! I hope you all had a lovely Valentine's day and celebrated it with people you love.
While I'm usually not really in to Valentine's day, this year I was excited since I had this chic red number to show off! I was so happy to get this eShakti dress in the mail and couldn't wait to wear it. The red lace was perfect for Valentine's day, so I just couldn't resist, especially since I had it custom made.
EShakti is an awesome store—Shakti means power in Sanskrit and internet + Shakti = eShakti.com.
You can customize just about everything—from the collar style to dress length to sleeve length.
Go check it out! You might be shopping for a while though (:
I've also been on the look for a DSLR camera and 50mm lens. Right now, I'm leaning towards the Nikon d3100 or Canon T1i, but it's been hard to convince my parents! It was really nerdy, but I finally gave them a persuasive presentation using powerpoint (when school meets real life haha) and it worked, but my dad decided to change his mind yesterday. HUGE frustration now, especially since I offered to pay for everything. Fingers crossed that I can make this work out...
On a side note, I also want to introduce to you a hip online eyeglasses store called GlassesUSA.com! I've been wearing glasses since middle school, but until recently, I only wore them at school when I couldn't see the board. Now, they've become a huge fashion statement, so I pulled my tortise-shell ones out since I thought they fit the vintage-chic vibe of this outfit well. You can buy glasses like mine here.
GlassesUSA even gave me a discount to share with you guys!
