Street Style: My Campus Photo Project

All photos from Best Dressed Jeffs -- Amherst Street Style

Hello, hello!

I am indeed alive, and I'm officially done with my first year of college.

Lately, it's been a frenzy of writing, studying, packing, not sleeping. Now that I've been home for a couple of days, I feel much more at peace. Huge thanks to the readers who tagged along despite my absence--I can't wait to interact with you all again.

I'm confined to my walking boot for another week and a half, so my latest outfits have been accentuated by the big ol' gray cast and a hot pink running shoe (to keep sole height balanced). Eclectic, yes. The refined eclectic? Not exactly.

So in lieu of an outfit post, I present to you my favorite shots from the campus street style blog I started this year. It's called Best Dressed Jeffs (Amherst's mascot is Lord Jeff--don't get me started on this topic of hot debate) and it features students of all grades, and even some from neighboring colleges. You can read more about the blog's philosophy and see more photos of stylish students on the tumblr or facebook page.

As for other news, I'm going to be out and about this summer (traveling and working at an educational camp for kids), so my blogging schedule may be sporadic. I'll do my best to keep up, but there may be an influx of scheduled posts as I jet off across the world and country.

oh my, with no flattery I must say that your campus photo project is amazing. What a great idea! It's always quite interesting to be absorbed in this atmosphere of campus life and street style of young people. Each of those guys looks so stylish and extremely chic, I was closely examining each of those photographs! You should make such posts more often, I suggest:)

Congratulations with the end of your first year of college, hopefully you are enjoying your student life fully as much a your vocation time;) Hope to see you in blog more often, no matter what:)

Ah and yes, I've been sporadically keeping up with blogs these previous weeks and I feel so guilty about it...I did see your comment Lily, to which I can just say a heartwarming thank you and send you all the cyber hugs in the world! Thank you girl for the encouragement and kind thoughts. We'll pull through this college thing yet!

Yesss, I'm so pumped about the 5K - I'm signed up to do another one next month now! :D Hahaha! I'll be making a Life Lately post to try and catch everyone up on everything I've been doing, cause there's been a LOT.

Anyway, sounds like you're gonna be quite the busy gal yourself! Wow, good luck and praying for safe travels and a wonderful time :)

  7. Yay! Congrats on finishing your first year at Amherst!! I know it was tough but you made it (alive) and now you have some pretty fantastic memories too :) So sorry to hear about your boot but it doesn't sound like it will be too much of a burden for a lot longer. And I must say, your college has some pretty fantastic style! I wish my college had cool style like that! Thank you for sharing!

Can't wait to hear about your year, travels, and other exciting adventures this summer. Aren't you lucky? Keep in touch!
