Life Lately: Where Have I Been?

Hello, friends! It’s been forever (6 months actually), but I'm hopefully back for a spell.

There are lots of things I want to write, but I figured I'd first do a recap of the last half year.

Here's what I've been up to:

April:

Ran a 50k (31 miles—well, actually 32.7 because the course was inaccurate) and raised $1400+ for RAINN (the largest American anti-sexual assault network) with the help of 70+ beautiful people.

May:

Took a road trip with friends to Acadia National Park.

Graduated summa cum laude with a degree in math and French. The names of my theses were: The Galois Group of a PCF Quadratic Polynomial and Fragmented Texts and Identities: Roland Barthes and Me (I’ll let you guess which one was math and which one was French 😉).

June-August:

Moved to Boston to do a marketing internship with a college applications consulting startup (the startup was super cool—the office was equipped with standing desks, a kitchen with free snacks, and a free building gym).

September:

Flew out for a year abroad in Dijon, France, where I'll be teaching English language classes at the university.

I'll be a bit terse today, but hoping to come back soon in more detail on a lot of these developments (particularly a 50k review, Acadia hiking guide, and what it's like to write 2 theses).

Hugs,
